LOL   That's a good one! I almost got a ticket for unmarked parking, but i was just in time and the cop had an easy day so he didn't make much out of it. But i never got pulled over or got any speed tickets, although it's not difficult breaking the limit with a 360 ;)

Hanging around outside a recently burgled house (i was dropping a friend off opposite after an 18th) - full license/reg/vin/breath check

"erratic driving" I slammed my brakes on and swerved, about 30 yards infront of a police car... I didn't miss the rabbits  it was late at night, and I was dedicated driver - breathalised, negative (obv)

"random roadside safety check" having just had a borderline tire replaced 30 minutes previous!

I think that's all...I can chat my way out of a paper bag though, so I've never had a producer

Lost count, all when I was living in Watford...

Couple of times -
P"You're too young to drive a Volvo, who's is it??"
C"Mine"
P"Really, who's is it?? Parents?"
C"Mine, still"
P"Right, ID, *on radio* it says it belongs to, err.. you.... fair play. Nice speakers by the way, who fitted them?"
C"Me and me Dad"
P"Cool, what does it sound like"
*boom boom*
etc etc

Once -
P"Sorry, err, don't need you anymore, we thought you were an Escort that has just been used in a burglary"

Twice -
P"What are those lights in you footwell?"
*hastely flick switch*
C"Oh, they are only supposed to come on when the doors are open"
P"Ahh, well, which doors open??"
*Leans over, opens other door*
C"Must be this one"
*Shuts both front doors, lights magically go out*
P"Oh, so they do. Those are dangerous you know, very distracting"
C"I'm not so sure... I didn't even notice they were on, else I would have shut my door"
P"Good point, off you go"

Once - Just got new radio controlled kite type thing, and having just put it together, wanted a play. By this time it was dusk, but went to local park with Mum and Dad. Managed to tangle it, so was undoing knots by neon-light. Dad sat rolling a fag on my spoiler.
P"Errr, what you doing?"
C"Trying to undo a big knot"
P"Right....."
(other PC sniffing dads tobacco tin manically)
P"What is it.... and why do you drive a Volvo with neons?"
C"It is an RC kite, and cos I like to be different"
Dad"Have a look at the stereo"
P"I've seen you before... (to dad) you must be the bloke who helped him fit it, good effort, sounds well good"
Dad"Ta muchly"
C"Ta muchly"
*General chat ensues*

To be fair to them, they've always been well nice blokes, and always praised the way I look after the car, and the standard of it. Anyone who praises my work must be a top geezer ;)

I have been pulled off once and it was a standard check.. They stopped everyone and checked that everything is ok. Standard stop check that is.. Everything ok in that but when I left the scene I accelerated maybe a little bit too hard.. :D It was a winter time but no ice or snow on the roads though. I had studded winter tires and when I floored it (it was a tricky place to leave because speed limit was kinda high for that place so needed to accelerate quickly) I got some serious wheelspin on dry asphalt with my winter tires and I might have sprayed some studs and rocks on to the cops... :D I was thinking that soon they're gonna stop me again but luckily they didn't.. :) Studded winter tires have kinda poor traction on dry cold asphalt.. :P

the local cops dont seem to like my 340, been pulled over a couple of times to many...

fastening seatbelt while you have a cop-car behind you is not smart, the car wiggles a bit, and you get pulled over to "blow in the baloon".
got a couple of speeding tickets, 20-30 km/h over... gets expensive..

once recently after i got the 340 i was driving some friends home from a party. i was going pretty fast as puke in the backseat is hard to remove. then as i drove on a red light (thought i was going to make it on yellow :P ) i see a cop behind me. i brake so the wheels got locked and slided on the wet road on winter-tires down from about 140km/h to the speedlimit, 60km/h. got pulled over, and the cop told me i had a signal-light out, 2 of 3 brakelights out, sucky tires, drove on a red light and one person to many in the car (this is serious). but since i locked the wheels he did not have a precise measure of my speed. He looked in to the car, and said to me: i'll let you off with a warning becouse your driving around healty norwegian youths. yes, i got pulled over by a nazi, and thank god for that

err , no comment needed

Never ,coz, they have to catch you before they can pull you over.
Or perhaps its because of the flat cap and plastic mack neatly folded on the rear parcel shelf next to the pipe and slippers LOL

That police officer sounds remarkably similar to something you'd say Chris... ;)

Haven't been stopped before luckily! Which is a bit strange living in a big city...

Never pulled over in the car. Once going around Marble Arch on my scooter :P

I'd just undertook/cut up 4 lanes and a traffic motorbike copper didn't approve. He told me to ride safely and let me off
