Hi All! Glad to see you!

I have a trouble with turning lights with my Volvo.

When I turn the handle left or right, instead of hearing regular ticking and lamp blinking on the gauge-board, I hear a nasty crack and no affects on turning-lights.

I thinkm, that relay might be broken, or smth like this.

Could you help me with an advice how to fix it? Where is located this relay? under the gauge-board? The sound is coming from there? Is it possible to fix it without ordering new one?

Thanks
your Andrey!

sounds like a relay to me. i think its in the fuse box (i may be wrong)

do hazard lights work at all?

No, sound coming from the space under the steering wheel. And if I try to knock at it it begins to work sometime.

hazard lights behave themselves as turning-lights. I suppose, they use a common relay.

But, in Russia policemen do not watch the turning lights and do not fine a pennalty for it, so I continue driving without turning lights still.

O, maybe there is a fuse-box also under the steering wheel?
It is rather hard to take off the front panel myself, so I think it is time to go to service station...

I recently had the same problem.
the relay is the guilty one,it is under the steering wheel, you will have to take off the plastic.
mine was working perfect, the problem was, that the fuses came off a bit.
i'm sure it is easy to fix, try it, and if it does the same thing, you will have to replace the relay.
