940 Engine mounts

I'm hoping to use the 940 engine mounts for my 360 Turbo conversion, but they point out at an angle and I have no shell at the moment to measure.

The 940 uses 675mm of space pk-pk including the Aluminum angled base (which I want to use), although really I need measurements of 'engine mount pk-crank pulley edge' on each side.

I can do this once I get the shell back and put the Engine in with the 360 mounts, but I think both engines use the same ratio of distances on either side so if someone with a 360 (or maybe 340 if it has marking or holes for the 360 mounts) with an engine out could tell me the chassis width available at the centre of the engine mount it would help me figure out if this will work or not. Possibly the mounting surface maybe below the level of the chassis (about 9cm below the 360 engine side bracket) which might create difficulties.

To use the 940 engine side brackets you will need these or make something the same yourself. The PU mounts are Amazon engine mounts http://www.classicswede.co.uk/360_uprat ... 75685.aspx

Are you saying the 940 mounts will not fit? They are obviously rated for the job and I'd like to retain the normal level of isolation. I have them, and am happy enough making up brackets.

use what dai has linked or something similar and the block mounted 7/9 series bracket.

The 940 mounts would be harder to use as they are both wider and taller than the stronger amazon ones. On the RHS clearance is tight and the 940 mount would push the bracket much further below the chassis rail
