I've got an '87 340 1.7 and am thinking of fitting a custom exhaust... I'm hoping it will help the car rev more freely.
Has anyone done it?
Any suggestions as to where I can get one made?

Did something similar to my last '88 340 1.4.

Done quite a few of them over the years.

I have a 2.5 inch system off my old 340 that is not likely to get used for a while

The 1.7 manifold can be done but needs a change of intake





If you wanted to improve the manifold a little the B18U manifold do flow a little better and will work with the original inlet.

As to the exhaust I only have a pic of the tailpipe
