economy gauge

So question, I've come into quite a few parts lately (good couple hundred) and among them was a circa 1982 GLS genuine economy gauge, in box, with fitting and vac hose, and fitting instructions. And I was just curious as to what it's worth may be?

A) What someone will pay for it.

This post sounds like a lame way of circumventing the "stick a price on it" for sale rules. The easiest way to find out is to stick it up here for £1000 and drop it by a tenner every week until someone bites, or just stick it up on the 'bay @99p no reserve and let the market decide.

It's worth nothing to me as I don't give a shit about economy and I have enough fun chasing vacuum leaks without adding another source.

Talking of price and gauging the economy, has anyone other than me seen the £7k 1.4 auto on the carandclassic website? Wicked motor, awesome colour, shame I am not a billionairess with large barns, as one of the writers in Popular Classics used to say...

It's not going around the rules, sorry if it seems that way. I was just gauging interest would've been a better way to put it. Was seeing if it was worth anything to anyone, and if not I would just keep it is all.
