
Well you can see what I am getting at. my first step is to get out the wire brush on the drill and clean the rust off

This patch above has come up nicely (the hole is for the switch) above
But this patch below is just too rusty

A quick coat of paint over the lot (welding to be done the following night)

The welding done it looks a bit poo because I used a series of tacks to build up the holes

Then it time to face the weld off with an angle grinder. Be carfull to ues dust sheets or something to sheild to glass and interior. Hot sparks WILL burn into glass!!!

Then some paint again

The same goes for this small rust spot on the door

Wire bush untill all signs of rust have gone

Then paint I use a very (expensive) heavy alu content primer
