I'm a happy man!
I've just bought myself a set of these:
for only 25 euros. Only thing is, I need to pick them up 200 kms from here...

Congrats! Those are very nice wheels! I saw them too on the advert site. But i wasn't going for them because it's quite a drive for me too. But i think they're worth it as they are in good condition.

Yeah, but that is in 'high spec oversea country'
These wheels are rare over here and are a bit more expensive.

Congrats! Those rims will look awesome on that beautiful red car of yours!
I was only going te sell them on with a nice profit so I'm not to depressed!

lol, don't be sad, you've got nothing to complain about with that car of yours.
I'll have to 'finish' my current tyres first, they're still in good shape, (are these 13 or 14"?), then replace the wheels.
Oh btw, I've just bought a collection of 28 workshop manuals too, and my hunt for volvo-related stuff continues....('')

I'm not complaining.
My 360 is going to spend the coming year in a workshop getting closer to perfection!
I have a B230 FT conversion on the way this year, if all goes as planned.
Stock steel wheels are 13".
I'm actively hunting for parts aswell!

So it will consume even more than it does now?;)
I found central locking in a 340 GL special at the scrappy yesterday, but I'm having a hard time running the wires through my doors...
btw, where can I take the power from? I know it should be fused by #14.

Why would they consume more?
The total tyre and wheel diameter stays the same.
The tyres on those 14" alu wheels are a bit wider, that will up fuel consumption a bit, not much.

no, I was talking about your B230 project:)
Understand that 14" wheels won't affect fuel consumption very much.

14" wheels make the handling a bit nicer, but other than that no difference.
i've got 10 of those glt alloys now

A B230FT won't consume alot more,
if I don't put my foot down to hard!
They do 1:10 (km/l) in a 740, that's what my 360 does at the moment, and that's 200 kg lighter...

Hmm, maybe I should consider some helium-filled shoes... atm my car's fuel consumption is about 1:10.
Problem is...accelerating in this car is too much fun; I used to drive my mom's '88 Suzuki Swift:)
