Cam comparisons

Post by Logan360 »

Hey guys.

So I have a B200E 360 with the factory A cam. I have also just got an H cam for it. I find the A cam drops out around 3.5-4k rpm, but seems to have it's torque around 1500 area.

What would I see from my H cam? Also would I see a power increase?

I've googled it but I can only find info for 230s

Why don't you just put it in and try it? There's not many people that have tried putting a H cam into a B200E with stock LE-Jet, mainly because LE-Jet is too dumb to take advantage of hardware swaps like this. It's only a simple job to swap it out. I seem to recall Filthyjohn may have tried it but not sure of the outcome!

Mainly because I didn't want to waste time (should've been at work :) ) if it wasn't gonna be worth it really. But ended up pulling a sickie. It doesn't die off around 3.5-4 now. Whilst It feels like I have lost some top speed for some reason, it's more responsive and will pick up at 3.5 from any gear and start to move.

Will sit better at the higher rpm too.
