My 360GL has had a problem assessed by a very trusted mechanic who said....

I am not going to repair this it is too badly damaged and only good for scrap sm50

Now I need a new 360 and FAST sm44

Anyone know of a 360 anywhere?

Where are you based, as I know a few for sale. What specifically was wrong with the 360GL?

Based in the North West (Manchester Way) although travel is not an issue at the moment.

Failed on Crossmember - Structural Integrity (gutted) £400 + to repair

On the other side is anyone interested in a 360GL (Carb Model) failed MOT on the crossmember and the rubber connector in the steering column.

95,000 miles (never let me down)

Spares or repair (as I am rebuilding the front end of my wifes 340)

I would rather not have to take her to the scrap (breaks my heart) :|

I am not asking anything for her if for repair i'll throw in the new genuine front panel.

Thanks Steve I did notice just after posting.

So 990 I'm interested what do you want to do about collecting?
Is it drivable?

Thanks

Dai

It is drivable (although not legally), if you want it let me know how you want to do it (pretty flexible on this one.
By the way it has a sticking needle valve - replacement carb thrown in.

There are a few other bits and pieces (being honest)

One of the rear door is starting to go (only just), and a small hole in one of the sills.

If you are still interested pm me and we can arrange something I am sure.

As I said she has been as reliable as anything and this development has me totally gutted. But I have a baby on the way and I don't have the time to do the work necessary :|

Had the same problem on ours too. Just swapped the cross member for a new one. Can be done with the steering system still on the car. Total costs, a couple of pints for a friend who had a spair crossmember and an afternoon of manual labour.

Wish I had the part, time and a mate who could do the work, but with the Baby on the way I have to get my priorities in order

However I will have another 360 (can't live without it) :D

But if she goes to a good home I will be happy, she is just too reliable to scrap

So folks a challenge (devoid up here). I need another 360
