Volvo 340 1.7 from Portugal - video inside

Hi!

I'm new in the house

I have bought in September a 1990 340 GL 1.7. I have other Volvo's but for this time I was looking for something cheap, rear whell drive. i have looked for severall cars, oter Volvo's, other brands, but the best offer was this 340

So... here it is, my low budget project "fun car".

It has the 1.7l engine with 82hp, 5 doors, 150000kms, and it was from a Volvo mechanic so it is in quite good shape.

I'm hope that I can learn a lot here in the foruns... and I start with some questions to the experts

What can be done to the handling of the car? It rolls to much and in the limit the only think that hapens is spinning the rear intern wheel...

Hi and welcome.
There are loads of things that can be done to improve handling on a 300.
The first thing of all as with any car fitting a good set of tyres works wonders try some 185/60/14 or 13s.

Yeah... Need some mods to slide easyally... but now I have a 360 GLT under my eyes... Let's see...
