The offset is way out though... I think 300s are around 32-38mm or something.

You wouldn't really be able to do what you want with them. They're only 13x5.5" So you couldn't fit low profile and wide tyres and keep within reach of the original rolling diameter. 5.5" wide means you wont really be able to go wider than 195 tyre width, and I don't expect you'll be able to have a low enough profile for the looks that you want.

13" is wayyy to small for low profile tires. for them, you ideally want 15 or 16" wheels

I'd say even 17s are too big, you'll probably struggle to fit 18s in the arches and it'll look like a tractor if your not careful, I agree with Hugh 15s or 16s maximum if your going low pro's, mine are et37 btw so 25 is a fair way off, i like the style of those and what your aiming for, just go a little larger

18s from a volvo wont fit, they will be v40 wheels and have a different pcd.

You can't get tyres for 18s which will keep them the 'right' size. Maybe that doesn't matter to you, but your speedo will mis-read, and the car will accellerate slower (but have a higher top speed). 17s are already down to ~35 profiles.
Otherwise those rims will fit. I'm pretty sure that offset would be ok-ish actually Steve - 10mm isn't night and day. The big problem is that with low profile tyres, you'd have tiny wheels - like that white drift 340. Maybe that's the look you're going for (and I can see the appeal), but be aware that that's what you'd have!
I'd hang on for some pimp 15 or 16" rims.
cheers

actually, it wont give a higher top speed cos most 300s wont reach the redline in top

The only picture ive got at the moment Adam is the one in my avatar and this one (although i have finished all the alloys now):
Id go and take more but the cars not looking its best with a wheel off and jacked up due to the knackered damper, plus its too dark and damn cold! Got round to starting to build a strutbrace in "reading week" aswell, built the strut top mounts just need to do the bar linking them now and I swapped my rear strutbrace into it aswell, have to see if it makes a difference,
cheers
