Hi guys.
Greetings from Romania. It has been a while since my last visit on the site, but... work work work.
Finaly been able to change the MAF on my 360glt. It still drinks like crazy around 19 / 100 km in the city ( beginning of winter, around 4 to 6 degrees )
I know this is not a economical engine but still I think it should go up to 13-14 and not at low speeds. I also need to change the exaust sice the actual one has everything burned inside. I guess this will lower the fuel consumption a little.
So bottom line tell me pls what should a normal consumption be for a 2.0 engine on a 360 glt?
thanks

I can get 8 litres per 100 kilometer. Useally it's about 10 / 100. Once when I really really really tried I got 7 / 100, but that's no fun.

Hey mate! I'm from romania as well.
Good to see that we have more members from here
Mine has the B200K carb engine, and it drinks about 9 to 10 liters/100.
I think that yours is way above the limit, hope you get it right !
Cheers! Robert

My car can drink over 14l/100km when doing full throttle accelerations in city, but on road it goes even under 9l/100km if I drive nicely without overtaking and so.
However my car is not completely stock, it has hotter cam and programmable fuel injection, but I think that hotter cam makes it drink little bit more and programmable injection saves around same amount, so I just have little bit more power available

I reckon I'm on the way to getting 310 miles out of this tank (around 200 miles being motorway and 100 miles being urban). I'm pretty damn happy with that! I never got over 300 miles in my old GLT.

Really Steve? I once squeezed 340 miles from a tank in my GLT, mostly motorway, though not slow I must admit! I currently have no idea what the lower milage 360 is doing, as the milage recorder has locked up!

It's all about the 1.4.... 275 off £20

(Ok, so that was once, usually it's around 200ish for £20)
Beast was roughly similar, 200miles ish to £20, not sure what mpg that comes out being

Dear me, I've just worked out that 310miles out of a tank is just over 25mpg - i thought I'd done well, but 25mpg is pathetic

Unless I've done something completely wrong? 55litre tank = 12.098 gallons, right?

It's all about the distance per £20 note.... though you have to suss out whether it's the car needing tuning and getting thirsty or if petrol prices have gone up

Renault Clio 1.2 16v - 322 miles for £20, without me even trying. Ok.. it was a Clio but I was outstanded with the economy

Even running unevenly at the moment, I'm getting 150 miles plus on twenty quid. I worked that out to 9.7 litre/100 K - (I think

I put £42/50liters in my GLT last week and used it for a week driving 40 miles per day on the motorway, then doing some town driving with heavy traffic, by the end of the week my car had done 310miles before the yellow "panic" light came on on the fuel gauge!
All in all im very satisfied, I wouldnt say that was the stereotypical poor 360 MPG.

Al
