Thanks for those, although the RAC one is giving me an error, probably just a temp thing though

I just searched for a couple of my old cars and thought it might be worth warning people that the sites don't notify you if a vehicle has been scrapped - so if you're spending a lot of money on a car it's probably worth paying the £35 or so for a full data check.

I'd also ignore the manufacture dates the RAC website gives - I have the delivery receipt for my 340 as 1st Aug 83, but the RAC doesn't think it was made until December 83... DVLA site gets it right though.

the rac site also says one of my cars is a suzuki rather than a honda

The DVLA one is telling me that the panther is blue... and it's unliscenced....
The RAC says it's a blue saloon!

RAC Reckons Kar's a 31 Dec '91, which isn't quite true, anyone got a date that isn't an end of year

Nope, just messed about on it and all of the cars I've entered are 31st December for 1989 and 30th for 1988, so it's automatically setting them for the end of the year, which isn't quite right!

Interesting tool actually, just checked if our old G reg blue saloon has changed owner, which it has.......in 2004, so could still be about somewhere.
