Electric mirrors in my local scrappy

Wandering round my local scrappy yesterday and there's a new 340 in there. Looks really mint (aprt from the front end is smashed!), and I noticed it has electric mirrors. I know some people were after them, so thought I'd let you know.
They're a professional place, so they might take them off and post them, or I could probably find a spare hour and pop over and get the bits if anyone is interested.

yep...
RHD and LHD mirrors indeed have different angles. I found out it the hard way.

My passenger site mirror is going to be a UK drivers site one. Is this going to be a problem?

Think about the different position of the driver, which means the mirror needs to be at a different angle. The adjustment probably won't be enough.

Indeed, Tero has made the discovery, but has managed to swap the angled bases with LHD drive ones now I believe. Once this had been discovered I warned a couple of other people about it who wanted UK mirrors, definitely something to be aware of.

I have swapped the bases but I have to warn you it's NOT easy. The mirror housing is not meant to be dismantled from the base and it doesn't have screws but studs that are rusted TIGHT. You don't have very much room for the job.
Heat, WD40, patience, smokes, good light, more patience and smokes and it might work out fine...mine did.
The motor is crappy on the other side and I still don't have the switches, but this is small stuff...

May be it's possible to change the mechanism from both mirrors. So the RHD right mirror motor becomes the LHD left mirror motor and backwards...?
