With a bit of work, I reckon this will be pretty cool - it certainly looks like a good conversion. Exept I think it has no boot!

He, I saw that a lil while ago, tried to get a few to help me work out what the front end was, but didn't get anywhere. Any ideas? Can't believe I passed up one of those rear number plate fitting deflectors last year either

Does look nice. I would like to know what the kit is aswell. The mk1 front modded looks sooo right on that.

That is definitely right! So many projects look wrong, although the idea is right, that can pull it off well! I think you're right about the boot Steve, most of it is housing the roof as well. The only thing I'm not sure about are those round lights! It'd be nice to keep track of this project, good work!

The front bumper reminds me of one of the cars in the game Live For Speed. I know these are genric cars, but I don't know if it's based on a real car

There is a 340 carbrio prototype in volvo's storage... its prob in sweden now that Volvo BV is no more but it used to be stored in the basement of volvo holland... along with the 340 estate, facelift prototypes and lots of other cool cars. Volvo published a book last year about volvo in holland and it had lots of proto pics... including a MK2 480... never happened and a ford fiesta size small volvo........
