Why D?

I'm looking for F340 AKE and H340 KAR, but doubt I'll find them.

There is one plate availble that I'm after, and only £250...

and would have had it on numerous occasions had i had a car that it fitted, although it did nearly go on mums Mondeo once

One of my mates has an OAP plate

So the plate reads the 340 GLT or Da 340 GLT

erm... what's this K17E all about? I suppose it's meant to spell KITE is it? I'm always entertained by people desperately trying to get words out of their licence plates... the other week in Plymouth I saw M18TT D

Yeah... it is kite, I recon you'd get away with it though, have to see one day!

I'd never buy a reg, but do sometimes look to see what is available. You know, GPC 340V could be worth considering. However, don't think I've ever found a 340.

There was a lad near me who used to drive a nail of an old Polo. However, the reg was mint, probably worth much more than the car:

I'm think my 666 number plate is a winner. It's not a personalised one, it just came with it!

There's a white Sierra on site at work, G666HEX. My workmates have a theory that if a third 666 car comes on site and we all park together, some sort of evil vortex will be opened and apocoliptic doom will ensue.

I also spotted the plate on this Ebay car! The more you look the more funny or good possibilities for plates you see around. A well known plumbers business in London has about 50 vans all with personal plates linked to the trade, SINKS, WATER etc. Personally I wouldn't bother spending the money on anything too obscure like initials or something that is only known to yourself, but the obvious ones can be quite good.

I quite like it when you've just got a nice plate that you want to keep, like my dad did - he chose a *400 *** plate when he bought his 240 brand new in '83 and has just moved it onto his new cars since.
