Welcome!

Always nice to hear from saved older underrated cars. That car of yours looks very nice and I just can't believe that someone would scrap that

In here Finland I have not seen too many of those cars, I don't know why, but older Renaults just seem not to exists, maybe they did sell much less in here than Toyota Corolla that was sold more than other cars for many many years in 80's and early 90's, I really don't like Corolla :P

Is that Renault carb or fuel injection? Does it have electric windows or other silly things that true racer don't need ? :D
I have heard that Renaults may have loads of accessories, but I simply don't know anything from them

this r9 is a 1988 made 1.7 carburettor (solex 28 34 z10 used on volvo340 1.7s )

its got electric windows and central locking ,no power steering ,it weighs about 900-950 kgs and i am in process of lowering her these days .

i also own a renault 19 16v chamade ,now thats a beauty as well 137bhp standard

Oh very nice, you know finnish :)

Too bad that older Renaults are not rated high in here, those would be better than Corolla any time :D Even I'm not big fan of FWD ;)

137hp is that 1,7l engine too?
