Sadly, Its gotta go

Its been fun guys, but its time for the volvo to go now, I originally was going to keep the 360GLT for paddock work, but when the rego expires its not going to be re-registerable, only just passed last time. That and the MR2 is such an awesome car to drive, drives like a go kart, wont break traction, sounds like a V8 on the gas with the stock exhaust, and goes like one from 5000rpm all the way to 7500rpm, and looks like a ferrari to boot.

So while it's gonna be sad to the 360GLT go, it's gotta happen. Now, the engine is in top shape and has a 2" stainless exhaust on it, and a minor tweak on the intake, but is stock otherwise. The G/box on it is on its way out with a whining noise, but not as bad as the 1st gearbox when it let go, that said i've got a recon 4spd box with a whole 50k's on it and a spr 5-spd salvaged from my spares car when i had it.

The shell itself wont pass rego when due, as one headlight leaks, some rust, and seat adjust knobs are shattered enough to open up an unwary hand. Speaking of rego, my numberplates are fair game too, metallic blue "EVO 360", not damaged

Now, its got an aftermarket steering wheel and boss kit (autotechnica) which has replaceable colour inserts (red, blue, black... there is a carbon fiber and silver insert but gotta buy them separate).

The Racing hart wheels are some of the lightest wheels you can get, and worth around $3000 without tyres, wrapped with some Goodyear Eagle F1, 205/50-15, which have about 70-80% tread on em. You cant fit wider tyres on the front (there is about .25mm gap between tyre and shock absorber on front, yet doesn't rub). The wheels are in almost perfect condition, save one wheel having a mark i cant clean off, never guttered them. only reason these are getting sold is they wont fit the MR2 due to the different stud pattern. I'm not letting go of these for less than $1500

Also, i have some koni adjustable shocks on the rear, cant get them anymore in australia, couldn't find any for the front, but have a pair of new munroes for the front not yet fitted (stilll in the box.)

Last item i have is the fiberglass bucket seat (autotechnica A999 off memory), which has the volvo slide frame retrofitted to it, so will fit in the 360 GLT, and if the other 300's have the same mount points then will fit those too. the seat has provisions for a harness but never bothered with it.

I'd rather not ship o/s as i'm unfamiliar with how it works, but if someone wants to pay shipping on the shocks, steering wheel, or the rims to send o/s I dont see why it cant be done. Pics can be sent on request. If no-ones interested some of its going to the wreckers, or recyclers, other items i'm keeping till i find a decent price.

Potential interest in the shocks, AC gear, etc, etc...

I have a "contact" I can send stuff to in Aus for onward shipping.

Air con has been rebuilt to comply with the new standards in oz, works good (well, alot better than be4 rebuild) but havn't used the heater part dont know how to remove it thou. I'll have a look see if it can be removed. were you after the whole lot?

The shocks wouldn't be an issue 2 are still in the box and the koni's are easy to take off and can do so when the stock rims go back on

I forgot temporarily that the car isn't being broken, so removing the kit would kinda suck. Shocks are definitely of interest though. You have Konis for the rear only, right?

They're not mk2 alloys dude. Mk2s are 5 stud, which I guess is why Lonewolf cannot fit them. Mk1s and mk3s have 4x100 stud patterns though.

Fiberglass Shell Seat
$120

Steering wheel + Boss kit

I havent done postage prices, i imagine the wheels and seat might be dearish (unless u know a truckie), but the rest shouldnt be too bad. also if u want to go on a drive out my way, i'm fine for a pickup as well.

Nice looking car, and beautiful backdrops! Once I've paid off some of my current debts I'd like to either get a mk1 Supercharger or mk2 Turbo - lovely cars!

We've got a n/a mk1 at the mo, which is a good giggle. Drove it fairly hard for the first time in ages yesterday - even with crap tyres it handles fantastically. Although the backend going light at 60mph as you're coming off a roundabout was a bit hairy

$170 is about £50 IIRC. How 'used' are they?

Off memory i've done 5 events with them ( 2 in paddocks, 3 on skidpan), and mainly just travel to-from the events, with under 1000k's of light driving. So not very heavy use

Haven't played with the adjustments on them, so still at stock setting.

I'll take em off after the weekend is over (gettin the MR2 ready for a hillclimb, Poly bushes everywhere yay!!) and send some pics of em, and if u want me to check specific things, i'll see if i can do that for you.

EDIT: BTW just jumped on xe currency converter and i got 70GBP 102Euro

Ok, pics as requested, took a small while sorry foggy, but the cars been sold as parts, and they needed to drive back, i didnt want them driving without shocks on so went down with them and brought the shocks back.

They still feel just as firm as when i got them, so i dont think there will be any complaints. Was there anything specific you wanted me to find out about them? I dont know what freight is but i'll see if i can do that now

Foggy -Sure, to devon and to devon via geelong, will post back with those.

I unfortunately dont have the instructions on me atm, i will post em when i get them. Might be easier if i do a quick tutorial with pics though, when i read the instructions they weren't in laymens terms which sucked, but their not hard to adjust, only thing is they need to come out of the car otherwise you cant get at the adjusting lock in the top (not really shown in pics, but if you look at the top shock in the 1st pic and the 2nd shock in the second pic you can sorta see them).

To everyone
I still have the following
$120 - Autotechnica Bucket seat
$1500 - 15" Racing Hart CP-035 Wheels + (tyres + 300)
$130 - New Munroe front shocks
- Recon 4spd Gearbox (travelled under 50k's)
- Spare 5spd Gearbox
