OK, I should know better...

The Volvo Owner's Club National Rally and Best Kept Vehicle competiton is rapidly approaching.

Is anyone going to attend?

Is anyone going to dare to challenge James for his title of King of the 300s?

Is anyone going to take a tent or caravan and stay for the full five days?

I'm up for the first one, but not for the last two!

I'll be there - heck, I'll even put my car in the 300 section - who cares about winning prizes (I would say that, cos I wont win

), but it's nice to show theres a following for 300s.

Yeah, I won't even get in, as my name isn't down with the VOC, or at least my car won't get in. I *might* join up...... but we'll see, probably come along if I'm free though.

I'll be there, probably entering in the 300 class. I'll definitely not win this year, as I've been focussed elsewhere (Nessy / 240 / fixing oily bits on 360) other than making my 360 look pretty. It was a fluke that I won anyway.

I must admit, I can't remember the last time the '300 series news' section actually related to the 300 series directly in any way...it's usually about brands of winter tyres, etc. Worthy in itself...but isn't that what the rest of the mag is for?

As Mike Brace said a little while ago, it's our club, if we don't like it, they are always asking for articles. I keep meaning to do a write up of one of our meets, but am un organised as ever. I'd love to say too busy, but I know if I was more organised, I'd have the time
