Took very long time and ton of troubles, but I somewhat got renaming done for two cars, I will continue process, but before that I decided to make this test version so we can see how it works in different platforms etc.

I will not post link to public, but you can get link by sending me pm or email.

I will also open new forum section to my pages for reporting and discussion from this release so I can centrally manage all information.

File is 12MB zip archive, I will send also little instructions for installing.

Content is very limited, also there may be some issues but we will find out in test.

Included are 1,4l and 1,7l 4 door models, also 3 different tire types available and few colours, but that is about it. Sound is same in both, my car sound, not maybe most realistic, don't know, you tell me how it sounds

MJ, I will send link directly to you as I think you are quite interested ;)

Well done, I'll be testing soon.

I've been looking into this a bit more in the last few days, and hopefully I'll be able to fix those panel gaps which were causing issues. Well done for getting it this far :)

There is few textures that I still need to rename, but could not source which object did contain those. One tip for anyone starting modding, rename everything first, specially only use final names in model textures, saves lot of work, now I need to apply every material again for every part and there is many and some parts has several textures, also animated textures that are not too simple to export :P

MJ, if I export my material library from 3dsm and sent to you, would it work?

I think also needed to send all materials then too, that way it could be simpliest way for you to get correct materials as there was more than 2 checkboxes, lol.

It would be simple if only textures needed to put to model, but no, it is much more complicated

But tell me any comments from these two cars, performance, handling all that things and many more, I will be tweaking them further and also adding new versions too, but I think I finish interior first. I try to model simple dashboard, let's see what I will end with.

I've got the demo of this game but last time I tried to run it I found it crashed my computer, is this a "buy only" game  or is it possible to source elsewhere? I've got a logitech DFP wheel so would be nice to test a 300 with it :D

Buy only, for me at least, there is more content than any other similar product so good money vs stuff ratio.

Today I have been fixing various stuff, there is no proper mirrors and also exhaust is correct side and also that is part of MJ's model.

If I can find how to make damage to work way I like I will put update up today.

Sorry guys, I messed up with things and that was not working version for most, I think.

I put now new version up, is same link as before.

It also had now some improvements too. Delete old Volvo folder from gamedata\vehicles before extracting this to make sure it does not use old files.

Pictures sure are not telling it all, driving it is giving much better idea how it is :P

I wouldn't switch back if you paid me!
I'm fed up with having to update and patch every other day to plug security holes and stop the hourly crashes.

Having 2 windows and one Linux boxes here + one hdd with Linux in this windows machine, if I could live without driving sims I would not need windows either ;)

Ok guys, another update, download new version and delete old gamedata\vehicles\volvo folder before extracting.

Finally I spotted what was problem, there was some animation filenames still with old name, funny thing was that affected only to dx9, well works now, I think.

Also I made new wheels and tires, not very good those wheels, just 1st I ever made, but looks quite agressive now, lol.

I continue to hunt these bugs, report if you have any and also wishes etc. When I get these two cars nearly bug free I will put up some GLT versions and also upgrades too.

Here is screenshot that will show future features in damage sector, bend wheel, that is also first in rFactor, as far as I know there is no one that has gone this far with damage modelling and I plan to take it even further ;)

Forgot something
