Blanking plates

Post by Carl »

Does anyone have any blanking plates for switch holes (ie where the fog light switch would be on non-fog'd cars) - need two of them, and also the blanking plate that fits where the clock is?

Cheers

Havent got any of the plates yet :(

No idea if they're the same as the 200s, but could be worth a try - I can paypal you some beer tokens for them if you like?! I think the one for the clock is gonna be the PITA to find!

I may have a couple in the saloons, where the rear wiper would be. The switches are the same as 200's, as Stuntman says, so you should be ok with the blanking plates from those. You just need to find a poverty spec 300 somewhere, there was one on Ebay recently, might be an expensive blanking plate though! Would this be to mount switches in by any chance Carl, as I'm toying with the idea of removing the clock to make more space, I'd assumed they'd be easier to find.

Talking of Ebay, has anyone seen the 340 SE on a G plate, SPECIAL EDITION, it's not even got a clock, let alone anything else apart from redline bumpers?

Theres one of those in my local scrappy, though it's stuck on top of a big pile... Carl... its the one by the garden centre if you need the blanking plate... Allington Lane? The one that has two scrappies on the same site, it's in the RHS one

The clock plate will either be used for a switch for a map light, or maybe converted to a digi clock if I can find one the right size. The analogue clock is pretty useless for events.

Thanks to Mac and Stuntman, I'm now sorted out!

I hate those 2 scrappies Chris, but may well check them out on Saturday as the missus is away so it's a weekend dedicated to cars and footie! Was it a 340 or 360? Probably going to Silverlake first though to see if theres any BXs, MR2s or Volvos to rob bits from.

Yeah, I'm not keen, but they do sometimes have bits... its a special edition 340 on a G plate, not sure if it's worth it as it's quite high up, but thats the only one I saw all day, I went to trents and those two. Theres a red mk1 MR2 in trents, rusty, but still has most bits.

Ah no point if its a 340 then. A 360 would be a useful find.

Where's trents BTW? If it's relatively local may go check that MR2 out.
