Right, the time has come sadly, I've got to start reducing the collection. I've had to be brutally honest with myself as to what I will actually achieve project wise and what I will actually get done. None of the cars are completely past it sadly, which makes it even harder, the trouble is the longer they sit around, the worse they'll get, and it could be years before I get around to restoring them or working on them. My next project is the Variomatic, so..........
ON OFFER WE HAVE........... a complete 360 GLT D reg Saloon in black.
http://www.volvo300mania.com/forum-uk/v ... imited+glt More info here from a previous thread. I've had no time to play with it and I can't justify getting it running for no one to take it, then to have to scrap it. I'm still sure it's the fuel pump, but where it is I can't get under it to change it. Anyway, £50 it's yours complete as it is. If not, the whole thing will be broken, so put your name down now for anything you may want. The N/S front wing is rotten, the N/S front door has one dent just above the handle, but is rust free from memory, so a dent removal specialst might be able to save the door, or a skim of filler and respray, equals nice door. Rear N/S door is jsut showing signs of rust on the top edge under the window. The other side is pretty good from memory. Rear bumper is pretty poor, lacquer has all peeled, good for a project maybe. What appears to be a rust free
sunroof panel though!
NEXT we have a complete F reg saloon, this one I wanted to save, as there aren't too many about on an F plate. So, Foggy has his name down for the oilpan, fuel tank, injection system and some wiring, and maybe a front wing. This is Foggy's colour, champagne gold metallic, can't remember the code of the top of my head. SteveP wanted some doors, I'll talk to you on MSN and have a proper look around them all in the daylight and decide what you need and what I have that fits the bill.
AND FINALLY a project car. It's a 360 GLT shell, not in the best condition, but it has a Nissan 2.0 Turbo Diesel lump installed. It did run, it needs to glowplugs wiring in properly and a few things finishing off. I might have a play with this one before it goes, as it would be a shame for all the hard work that has been done to go to waste. A few quid and it's yours, we need the space, and I'm getting a lot of grief!
So let me know what you need and I'll remove it for you before they go for scrap!
Pete
