Hi there Carroyo,
Just for information - the Renix you need for a B19A is a type 404.
I must ask the obvious though, what is the problem ?, are you sure you need a complete Renix unit (the coil is available separately). Generally the renix system is pretty reliable but there a few simple things can stop it working without having to condem the whole thing.
Forgive me if I am stating the obvious but I don't know your level of mechanical expertise.
Regards - Mac.

If you can confirm you actually need the Renix I do believe I have a spare 404 on the shelf, believe it or not someone was running a 360 GLT Mk3 on the wrong renix for quite sometime, but then the bodywork let it down. Anyway, it's there should you need it.

Hi there Carroyo,
Don't worry about the 6 digit number - the type code is below it.
This pic. should make it clear (in this case it's a 412)
Anyone got a 404 spare they fancy sending to Chile ??.
In the mean time carroyo have a look at the thread on 'ignition components and servicing' - lots of info on the Renix system.
Good luck - Mac.

Found it earlier, as long as you're 100% sure you actually need the Renix, I can find out how much it will cost to send, as they're fairly heavy. I don't want you to waste money on the renix and getting it to Chile to find you don't actually need it! Otherwise I wrap it up and get a quote from the Post Office.

From memory it's a fuel injected GLT approx '86 onwards for a 411a, there's a good list on here somewhere. Many people when replacing them or sourcing spares make the mistake of thinking any 300 will do! Which is what happened on the car the 404 came from!

I'll see if they are open in the morning and get a quote if I've got time mate. I'll let you know what I find out. I think it will go over the first weight bracket, but shouldn't be too bad.

thanks for the info on the 411a being for a 360 GLT .
I wonder whether an old 240 mechanical system would be better for Corel to try and find in Chile as the 240 was more common in the States . SwedishBricks web site can probably help
