Anyone here going to Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend? Looks like it'll be a good day out (assuming the weather holds out). I'll be going down tomorrow

I was asked to help out marshalling the forest stage they have there, but it clashes with rallying, so I'll be down in devon in the 205 again.

Where in Devon is this rally Nick?

I'm probably going to the classic car show at Powderham (Nr Exeter) this weekend anyway. Seems to be alot of stuff going on

It's starting in the Exeter Court Hotel, Kennford, at around 9pm Saturday, using OS Landranger maps 191 and 192, and is organised by Exmouth Motor Club.

That's only a few miles from Powderham, so if you'd like to se what rallying is all about, pop over and have a look. I'll be in the passenger seat of a Grey 205 GTi.

I need to get Fake stage prepped... just so you don't have to keep navving piglets... although then I couldn't do road events in her anyway!

Also guess, who I saw...

Two TV stars, Jason Dawe, of Top Gear fame, and Penny Mallory, presenter of the WRC and ex rally driver herself. They were both filming their show Used Car Roadshow for Men and Motors, which used to be on freeview until ITV replaced it with a money making channel, ITV Play

I had a quick chat with both, told Jason about our 340 and V3M as he used to work at a Volvo dealership in Cornwall.



There were also a few older Volvo's at the show


And a Mazda with vynals to rival Stuntman and Mick

Jason Dawe used to work at a Citroen Dealership too and used to lust after a BX 16v Did a feature on them a few weeks ago on his programme.
