V3M roof chopping/car stripping meet - 30/9 > 1/10 2006!

Hello chaps and chapesses.

the plans to go to dakar are moving forwards - in mid-september i go to pick up siddy, and after that its roof choppin time. I have snowey on standby to practice on before we go ahead with the real thing - after which snowey is up for a free-for-all - take whatever you want off her at stupidly low prices - once i've enough back to make siddy cost me under £100 (about £60 i think) everything is free on her.

so, if anyone wants to hang out, help, nick some parts, chop some roofs, raise the rear sus.. let me know. theres LOOOADs of space in the house for whoever wants to stay (but ideally i'd prefer to know numbers sooner) and beer/food will be layed on by the woman of the house.

so let me know if you're up for it. in crediton - ex17 2db. I can possably give a lift to anyone along the south coast.. should be a giggle.

Hugh

Why then!! I'm so near untill I leave for uni in September :( Darn darn darn!! It's two weeks into my course lol

Sadly it's a long way down from Staffordshire, and trains are expensive :( At least I won't have any tight assignment deadlines like the Nessy meet.

Looking at Virgin trains it seems a standard eturn is £45 or so, but it could be as cheap as £15, so confusing. We'll see, I'd like to come, but it depends when lectures are etc. I won't need to stay as I'm not far away, so don't worry about that.

I'd most likely be up for this but will depend on dates really - Im hoping to get snowey's gearbox ;), MJ if you want a lift from Birmingham then that could work.

Ohh, thanks for the offer :) Depending on circumstances, I may well make it. I'll find out more when I get back to uni and lecture timetables are released etc :)

I'll possibly be keen, although that is the weekend after me and Nick get back I think... Hmmm, but I want some bits!

I'll be there, but not for the whole weekend...perhaps I could devote a whole day? It's a shame, as I've booked a holiday in Devon that weekend, but I'm not spending my whole holiday under a bloody car :-P

If anyone wants oily bits, I'll help out with that. By then I should be well versed in pulling gearboxes, etc. sm56

I might be interested in some bits...I'll have to see what's there. The Nezzle will be coming 'home' for the first time, of course. I suppose I should take it to Brighton really, too :D

cheers

I'm probably free, I should think, sounds like quite a bit of hard work, but pretty interesting stuff too.

Well I'm happy to announce that I will be there! (what a nice come back from me, I know lol :D )

How I will come, when I will arrive and leave UK isn't sure yet because we have political elections in Belgium on Sunday (and it's mandatory...), we will see!

It'd be great to see you if we both get there Amayat.

Hugh, if this is for the rally your entering, perhaps we ought to get the local paper to put in a small story about it, especially if we have the V3M founder from overseas. The batman and robin student gumball duo got in their local paper, and free V3M advertising can't be a bad thing!

I'm getting very tempted to go, especially if the man himself Aymat is going to be there! It's a hectic weekend that one, but I'm gonna try and get there.

Just a little question, is it *eventually* possible to make it the weekend before? (Saturday 30 September / Sunday 1 October)

It would be perfect for me: it's the day just after my birthday :P and there isn't the problem with the elections on Sunday...

Hugh, can we do that? Is it a problem for other people?
