Good man Mick, getting a bit of a collection now! Soon most people on here won't be happy with one 300, they'll have at least two, good work!

Hmm, 360, 1984, green.........
I'm guessing it's a silver-green metallic 360GLS - what do I win if I'm right?

Nothing, because you're wrong- that colour dissapeared in late 1983 afaik

Never seen an A plate in that colour... I think it'll be like solomanda's

I see, so the possibility that it's an '83 car but registered in '84 hasn't occured to you then?

Maybe so, but it'll still be a GLS

Got home from work and the keys to my new car are on the doormat I was only visiting the Volvo dealer to see they if they had some spares for my 89 360 which they have discontinued mostly it seems when they offered me this one with long MOT for £ 50 but I had to pay for also for transporter and number plates
I have not looked at the car closely yet (it is now rainy and dark) but there being so much interest here I have looked at VIN plate which gives the colour as
208 Dark green / Onyx metallic 360.340.345 from
http://www.volvoclub.org.uk/paint_colour_codes.htm
Certainly looks like Solamanda's to me
As for the car it looks good a bit of rust on one of nearside doors a bit of a smell of electrical insulation burning in the interior
BTW according to the documents the car was bought direct from Holland under a Tourist & Diplomat Sales scheme in March 1984 spending its first two years at the British Embassy in Prague

Yes, but you're wrong anyway - and I didn't dispute it'd be a GLS...
