• Fuses.

Is anyone able to put up a list of what fuses do what?

I keep blowing a fuse, didn't read which number it is, i'll post that up tomorrow when it's light outside, but the interior light and central locking don't work anymore, so i'm tipping it's for those, i had the windscreen replaced and the guy had the interior light and surrounding trim out to do it, i'm tipping he shorted a wire for the light when refitting it.

ANyway i realised i have to way of knowing what fuses are for what, so if anyone has a list that would be great, it's a '85 360 glt BTW.

The details for the fuses are in the owners hand book if you still have it.

I'm sure someone should have a copy to hand.

I'll dig the indoor copy out, it's on the desk somewhere and scan it later for you if no one else has a copy on hand and pre scanned!

this is the fuses from a 340, i assume you may need the aux fuse box for a 360 mind.

hi

I meant to post this a while ago but where do people get fuses from?

no petrol stations near me stock anything but blade fuses for new cars.

Im currently running my right headlamp dipped beam on a halford 8A fuse ( should be a 10A in there ) Overfusing is ok but where do people get fuses from?

PS the halfords ones are a bit flimsy, the 8A one - the metal bullet ends started to come off just from trying to slide the fuse into the holder... in now but there arent fab quality

I've noticed this too, I did once see a petrol station with the bullet fuses. I've never bought any to be honest, my supply of cars has always allowed me to carry plenty of spares!

Thanks guys, the windscreen bloke not only shorted a wire, he broke the light, dickhead...

It really seems that its hit and miss with people who replace windscreens, either you get a great one who not only does it right first time, they don't break any trims, parts of the car or scratch it, or break the new screen! Or you get a complete muppet who does the opposite to all of the above. Just make sure with a 300 you watch them like a hawk and forwarn them about the trim around the screen, as they'll probably snap it, and you won't be able to buy a new one to replace it!
