Crazy...

These next ones are from 300power.com, first one has a tube frame front, front axle setup from Supra and engine is BMW V12 with turbos. (Pics in the topic of that crazy widened 360 with wild spoiler is a different car, it's from Norway and it has +750hp Audi 5cyl.)

This one is going to get 240 rear axle, M90 and 16V Turbo

This one I posted before already but it's so cool it deserves another post..

It's going to have B23ET with H-profile rods and new crank, forged Mahle pistons, B21 auxilliary axle, ported 16V, intake and exhaust made of stainless steel, 895cc injectors and Vems 3.3, Getrag 262/265 and clutch which will hold up to 1300Nm.

That V12 thing is wild.. :P

Great things happening in garages in Finland too.

Makkiver has been busy, the burning of his old 360 (the white one) didn't slow him down he bought another 360 and turboed it. That's the right spirit!

His first setup was a B23A with Holset H1D 55/54, ported 531 with bigger valves, programmable engine managment etc..

He didn't drive long time with that setup, but he dynoed 310hp @ 0.97bar with yet not-so-perfect mapped ignition/fueling.

Now he has the same engine but the manifold is new and turbo has changed to Holset HX40. 8)

Old setup wih H1D http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v605/ ... 030297.jpg

New setup with HX40 http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v605/ ... 030829.jpg

Now he's looking a trans-axle drivetrain which could handle 600Nm torques. :D

Very nice work. :)

WOW! That has the makings of something awesome! What are those rims from, just aftermarket or something else. They look Porsche like, the era or the 944 or something, but I have no idea if they were 4 stud!

They look very much like Borbet alloys - but god knows, suit the car very very nicely though! I like the idea of a strong transaxle ;)

Yeah those are Borbet alloys. :)

That black 242 is very ugly, bad paint and really does not look very nice. I think that is intention too, some direction of styling I guess, but never that style has been what I have liked.

Personally I love it.

The matt primer doesn't look good on many cars, but I think it looks great there. I just noticed though, the bonnet is still shiny :?

Matt black cars are sweet... can even let the ricer's write they're shopping lists on the doors with chalk instead of having to get vinyls made up!!!

Seriously, I do like matt black, just only on certain cars! I reckon that 200 pulls it off, but agree the bonnet should match the roof and boot lid, be the roof and boot shiney or the bonnet matt...
