What does VROM stand for, is that anything to do with the Valakra (correct spelling?) as the Tbricks guys at the Summer Meet at Griz's were talking about going over for that. A couple of the V3M guys there, including myself were very keen. I'd like to go for sure.

VROM and Vallåkra is diffrent events.

VROM 11-12 aug
VROM = Volvo Rendezvous for Owners & Members

Vallåkra 18-19 aug
Vallåkra is a place in Sweden that have a big carevent. Its started in the 80s when som guys called "The Vallåkra Gang" started to custom build Volvo cars. Like this 340:

Aha, thanks for clarifying that! In that case, the VROM is probably more suited to us.

That 340 is something else, I've seen the article before, but does anyone have more info and pictures? And what happened to it?

If some people were really keen, a trip to both events could be sorted, as they are only a week apart! Make a proper holiday of it, any thoughts?

Yes, we are indeed going to Vallakra. It's a shame we can't get to both, but I think that would mean too much time off work!

Please tell me if you are going to have a meeting of Volvo owners in Goteborg area this year. I am interested to come also, because I intend anyway to visit Sweden (Goteborg omrade och Norrland/Lappland) this year. Is there a website I can take a look? It is ok also if the site (sites) is (are) in Swedish, I can manage myself good enough in Swedish.
