Final straw, no fuel, scrapyard time methinks...

Sorted out electrical "issues" i think on my lovely 360, but there no fuel now...
No fuel getting into carb.
Even with carb fuel line removed, no fuel comes out the line when cranking engine over.
Tiny little spit once, or twice, not even raindrop sized tho.
Obv not blocked if the above happens, and has plenty of fuel in the tank.
So all i can think of is the mechanical pump is shagged.
Nothing to do with the swirlpot thing etc would affect that would it, its all connected as ever. Or would it?
Any ideas? Ir am I calling the breakers to take it away?
I really CBA changing the fuel pump as its out of MOT at end of month anyhow...
