Kev popped around to drop off some parts I recent bought from him on eBay. He ended up staying for over three hours, and we had a really good chat about 300s and Volvo tuning in general. I won't go into the gory details, but I did learn some very interesting things about what those guys have been getting up to, and hopefully he took away some useful into too. Anyway, here are a few things I thought I should pass on...
The big news I think some folk here will want to know about is....
1) Safety Devices DO do a roll cage for 300s...but they list it as purely for a "343". SD were the OE for the early 80s rallycross cars - that's how old the design is! It's harder to get inside a 4/5dr car, as it's designed to fit through the larger 3dr doors, but it does fit. Should be £3-400 at current prices.
2) Usable sized turbo downpipe with PAS on a 360 does fit...if you're a bit creative.
3) The guys (Kev and Mark Higgins) really wanna come to some meets.
...and finally, on a sad note....
4) It seems that TOW is no more. The chap in Wales had the shell crushed, cage and all, once he realised it wasn't the goldmine he thought it was
The money shots...

EDIT: It just occured to me that the camera phone pics (digicam batteries are flat) are so pants, those struts are indistinct. They're coilover converted front struts with BMW E30 325i brakes fitted.
cheers
