Heh.. cheap run around ftw whilst sorting out the 300... I'd considered doing something similar (albeit with another 300 ) when sorting my 360 out, but still don't know whether to just get the bus or cycle for a week....

Don't get another car. If you are having to suffer while the car is off teh road it will give you all the insetive you need to get it completed.

Yep exactly, having the vario and the van meant I never really got the GLT sorted for ages, it sat and sat. Still, getting there now........ but then the problem is, once it's legal and working, the niggly smaller items never get done!

Aye tru but im doing 30 miles a day commute and coouldn't risk it, plus it wont pass its mot at the end of the month, but now i gotta patch the pug too.....

Overtaking a car and horsebox last night (safely!!! i learned my lesson on overtaking with a near miss one day.) and as i came round the car he just pulled into the SIDE of me to overtake the box as well. Says he never saw a bright white 106 when he checked his mirrors, i wasn't flying so he cant of checked.

Only panel damage to mine so we not worryin bout the ins cos i can do the cosmetics myself. He on the other hand has to pay 100+ for a new wing mirror for his vitara, and mum knows him and will tear a strip off him next time she sees him!

Hey, well luckily they didn't damage the 340 if you were driving that ;) Bloody people and not checking blindspots.... hope there wasn't too much damage

front door and rear quater panal on pass side, shoul be able to push the worst of it out, then buy a set of rubbing strips and voila (sic) sorted!

As i said, value wise he came off worse and my car already bin written off for a similar accident on the drivers side!! It only been repaired a few months and now the other side bin done in!!

If he'd of done it to the 340 then the glasswork would of probably been damaged and the mirror would of bin taken (it already loose from a tree branch incident) too but he would of had more than his wing mirror hangin off!
