How much is there in this, will a 5 speed gearbox fit, and will I have to use the driveshaft from the 5 speed?? It is a 360 with B19 Engine from 84.

Yes a 5 speed will fit, it's the same as the 4 speed, but with an overdrive added to give fifth.
I don't think you need to change the prop or anything, but read this thread for more info

Yes, I can't think of a reason off the top of my head why the 5-speed won't simply bolt in in place of the 4-speed. The diff housing is longer on the 4-speed, so I'm pretty sure the prop shaft is the same length.
Of course you must change the shift knob, as one with only 1/2/3/4 marked on it cannot be moved into position 5
cheers

Hang on a mo, didn't all 360's come with 5spds as standard? I can't ever recall seeing a 4spd 360 either in the flesh or in a brochure.

True, 360 never has been 4 speed, maybe gear knob has been changed and there actually would be 5th gear?

Yeah, I just read the topic title and thought the same! I only thought some 340 1.4's got the 4 speed?
I'm guessing someone may have swapped in the 4 speed at some point maybe as a replacement for a dodgy gearbox, as they had it to hand or it was cheap, or for the diff ratio for acceleration, not for top end speed?
