Hi all,

I'm a newbie here, and I will introduce myself in this topic. I'm Harry, I'm 20 and I live in the Netherlands. That explains my bad English, but I hope you can understand it.

In Februari 2006 I bought a Volvo 340 DL (don't know if in the UK DL is an usual 'name', but if not, it means DeLuxe, so there is a little bit extra luxuery. Sadly I've got no electrical windows and that kind of stuff, but never mind...
I love the Variomatic-transmission, I allways get excited when I'm driving through the Dutch landscape :P

In a couple of days I'm gonna look at a 360 GLT with the steeringwheel at the right side, in your country very common, but in Holland very rare :D
And I thought you guys would appreciate it that even in Holland there are some people with a Volvo with the steeringwheel at the right side.

I don't know how I can add some pics of my own 340, I've got some pictures on my computer... Well, if you want to see them, just tell me how I get the pics here :D

I love it to see you're all 300-enthusiasts, and I will regularly check this forum to see what's new :P

Greetz,
Harry

Greetings and welcome to the V3M forum Harry.
Never mind your bad English, i had ( and sometimes still have ) lack of words for car parts and language mistakes ( hmmm remembering my first post  ).

To put pics here, first you have to upload pics on some video and image hosting site ( like photobucket or smt like that ) and past IMG tag. Photobucket is free and easy to use.
Hope this helps

Cheers

Ivan

Hi again,

It's a while ago, but I promised to get a few pictures of my Volvo 340. Since I promised that, I bought another car, a 1983 Volvo 360 GLT. The GLT from that year is a bit rare in Holland, so I'm very happy to own such a car :D

Very nice cars indeed! The picture of the 340 by the water is one worthy of entry into the reflection photo competition and the first picture also has some interesting reflection going on, sadly voting is already taking place and entries are closed. But join in in future!

I wonder if the V360 Cup has anything to do with that ;-) Nice cars, and welcome!

Definately, all the 360 hatchback are pretty rare, especially the 3 door.

And this is the first 3 door GLT I'v seen in Holland.

Thanks for all the nice response, I really do like it :D

About the pictures and the reflection photo competition, i would like too make more and better pictures of my Volvo's, but it takes time, wich I don't have  Well, maybe in the future

About the rareness of the 3 door hatchback GLT, there must be another one, owned by a member of the Dutch Volvo 300 Club, but I haven't seen it so far.

I hope next year I can use the 360 fulltime and make it as pretty is it was almost 25 years ago :P
