Shimon was the name of the second born son of Yaakov, one of the founding fathers of the Jewish people along with Abraham and Isaac. The name means to hear and understand and is the earlier, if not original, form of the more common name Simon.

I'm sure Shimon will fill in any blanks ;)

Either that, or it's Simon as said by Sean Connery.......

hi!

A very accurate and eloquent reply by d3k4y0! Thank you

Yes, Shimon is the name that later evolved to Simon so yep, Ive got the original name

As for DJ Shimon, I know of him as he is a Jewish chap from London.

Stuntman, are you selling an auto 480 or looking to buy one?

hi there!

I dont know of one locally at the moment but have you checked www.volvo-480-europe.org. Thr forums link will take you to the English section of the site and there are a number of cars for sale there. Ebay seems a little quiet at the moment but this club and ebay are good places. The more pricey ones tend to come up in the VOC.

Autos are a ZF unit and arent known for their longevity. ATF changes are welcome as the guys in the club will explain. If no oil change has been done Id avoid one with over 120,000. Manual versions are longer lasting. If you are used to the B172 of the 340 then a 480 engine bay is a familiar sight...

good luck finding one!
