Hi guys

Post by lozza »

Hiya! I'm loz and thought i'd join up as i bought a D reg 1.7 340 a month or so ago.

My intentions when buying were and still are to drift it, i plan on lowering it, welding the diff and stripping it out. It also needs a new clutch, so im hoping to find some information and help on here about doing that.

Thanks!

Loz x

Howdy Loz! Welcome. Plenty of drifters here, a few of us who prefer to go quickly with the arse-end tucked in, and a load of people who just like driving their cars...and finally MJ, who doesn't drive his :)

Clutch change is probably about the easiest you'll ever find - no need to remove the gearbox!

Exhaust off
Prop off
Bellhousing off (having first supported the engine & removed the rear engine mounts)
Change clutch
Put it back together :)

cheers
