1.7 bellhousing

Post by !skelp! »

hi there looking for a 1.7 bellhousing. im located in scotland so obviously local pickup would be preferred. if anyone would be willing to post this could be a viable option so long as it doesnt cost too much.

let me know if anyones got one,

I have a 1.4 bellhousing kicking around. They are allegedly the same, however I don't *know* this first hand, so I can't offer you any assurances. It has a broken flywheel sensor mount, but it always stayed on AOK on just one. It's free if you want it....and shipping would be ~£7.

cheers

I swear someone said just yesterday that they're the same. I had always assumed they were different, for obvious reasons....or was said poster just talking about the clutch output shaft?

cheers

Ok...my mistake. Sounds like you do indeed need a 1.7-specific unit. Apologies for the mix-up.

cheers

It depends how quickly you want it, haven't yet put the car on a ramp to remove all those kind of bits. Will probably try to take bits off the 1.7 on saturday .

Will try and get for a price for the courier once its of.
