360 breaking

It looks like I'll be breaking a 360 shortly. It's a mk3 saloon (edit: in that bloody blue/green metallic colour). Body is shot, but mechanicals are good. I'll probably be keeping most of the oily bits, but if anyone wants anything else...

I haven't seen it yet, but I thought I'd issue a heads up based on the info I have. It has leather, although I believe it isn't in great shape. It had an 'SE' badge on the back too, but hands off! The real anoraks will get that

Any good panels atall? Could be interested in full exhaust if it's any good. Drivers seat if its better than mine (which is pretty good though...), door cards (again, if they're any good...).

I already have a spare full exhaust Steve.

Condition unknown at present - I haven't seen it - but it is described as 'scruffy'. Rest assured it will go to the crusher as a bare shell...if that!

I might need a splash engine guard for a mk2 360 if there is useable one but will need to check the bolt holes match Hadn't thought I could salvage from a different year car

Might want the leather, depending on condition/price. Could pick up as well, as I still need to come and raid your engine collection. Do you still want this bonnet too?

Bear in mind this is a saloon, so the rear seat backrest isn't the same.

James, can I have a couple of terminals which plug into the the instrument cluster multiplug - I STILL haven't got that bleedin ambient temp guage working

Oh aye, hadn't read the first post properly

I should really keep the radiator for my blue 360...although I bet it's knackered, like every other 360 rad is at this age!

Ali...what the heck is that? It looks like the case is bent, but being cast ally, surely it'd crack, not bend? The transaxle was due to end up in Nessy behind a T5 lump, but there'll be other boxes...and I'm probably only benchracing anyway.

Ali, is the box knackered then? Looks like something has sheared off somewhere and struck the side of the case hard, but not quite hard enough to come through. I used to do that to vauxhall F20s every couple of months

Seriously I hope it isn't bust. (selfishly, this has implications for those of us with aspirations of higher power

)
