These are NLA from the stealers (which seems to me like a sure fire way to kill off the car completely to me, given that it's a known weak point).
Can somebody Vadis the part and get me the number please? ('89 360 GLE) (I've called nordic, and they said 3205188, but when I've put that back into their system, it says it doesn't exist!)

New accelerator cable B200k
They've given you the right part number mate, it did exist in 04... no other 300 shares the 200k's cable either, and it's also different to the 200k on the 240 (well cab end looks the same, but the pedal box end is different). How is the pedal end attached? looks to me like a you could just replace the inner with a bike rear brake cable (the carb end looks to be the same as a bike lever end)
Then depending how it fits on the pedal box, (which looks like the same u bracket with a hole that all other 300's are, cos that would make sense

I made my own cable using a bike brake cable one. Next time you see an RAC or AA man ask him for a replacemnet acc cable end that way it makes it much easier as you can just cut the cable to length refit in old outer, bang on end and job done!!!

In the 340 with the 440 inlet manifold I'm using a 240 k jet cable. All I had to do to make it fit was drill out the holes where it fits onto the bulkhead.
