wanted - electric window motor

Hi,

I'm after a window motor for drivers door of 5dr 360. (unsure if that makes a difference)

Anyone have a spare or breaking a car with e/w?

Don't have a spare but to confirm the motors themselves aren't sided... and are also common in other cars too... German stuff of a similar era.. and I eve n think things like Range Rovers...

Also, have you taken the mechanism apart? Even if they jam the motors are often working fine after a good cleaning session.

Yeah, i had it out last night.
There seem to be an unreasonable amount of play in the output shaft, so i think it's goosed.
I cleaned it up and got it spinning fairly freely, and it did whir once, but definately isn't opening the window.

Cheers for the heads up though, it'll make finding one easier.

What's the damage on a new one?

I think I'll also be asking you for some lowering blocks in a couple of weeks.
