Howdy folks!

I need a front valance panel for a mk2. I think the rest can be patched or donated from a mk3. Any ideas?

cheers

Has Pete used the one he had off me?

No idea, but he doesn't have any mk2s that I know of. I have a feeling the panel is the same as for a mk3, actually, as I think the number plate 'bump' is an extra panel...but Vadis doesn't cover mk2s, so I can't check.

Hello, the front valance for the late 340's has the number plate bump pressed into it. I have one that does not have the number plate bump which I presume is for an early car. Is that any use?

That's precisely what I'm looking for, I think. How much would you like for it?

I'll find it over the weekend. I think its in good condition. You can have it for whatever its worth to you plus postage, if that's feasible given the size. Cheers, bogbasic.

When you say it's in good condition...is it new? Dai has been selling off panels for anywhere between £5-25, while Hadrian typically want £30-60, although they mostly sell more complex panels. On that basis, I guess £20-25 is the sort of ball-park I'm thinking of, assuming it's new, and in good condition.

It's not really for me as such - it's to go on my mk2 360 GLT, as a chap has expressed an interest in it, if it can be brought up to roadworthy condition.

Hello, is this the part you need?

Its in tip-top condition (no dents) apart from a few scratches which have very slight surface rust and plenty of dust. It came from someone who got it from volvo, I'd be happy with £20 plus postage,

Cheers, bogbasic.

That's exactly what we need - excellent! I didn't realise it came with the horizontal section too.

Sorry Steve....although to be fair, I bet yours is a damn sight more patchable than the one on that mk2.

Chris - to be honest buddy, it's a car too many. I'll struggle to justify insuring the 360 and 343, and I need the space. I'm up to 9 cars at the moment, and a 10th is quite possibly on the way  I guess I'll just have to rally one of the other cars...although both the 360 and 343 will be banned by the rules you guys keep mentioning - turbo and four throttles respectively :( Still, that S70 is quite handy cross-country...sm56

I've just looked up your location - you're within spitting distance of a friend of mine...could prove useful! I think postage will be a pain in the backside. I suggest we try to arrange collection. I'm down that way fairly regularly, so I'm sure we'll be able to sort something out. There's no desperate hurry on my part.

cheers

If BB is where I parked next to him the other day at any point I don't mind being middle man either if you guys need too.

I know what you mean about numbers of cars Foggy, it doesn't make sense ;)
