Season of merry electrical ...... but what?

I know most things electrical surface at this time of year.. but Today I had someone change plugs and HT leads on my B200F , runs better but... the revs indicated are higher by about 15% than they were yesterday Any clues to this one ??

When you say 'revs indicated' are you sure it's just indicated, and the engine doesn't sound to be actually running quicker?

Definitely the indicating only -by comparing the values with before say in 4th gear there used to be an angle between the directions of the speedo and rev now they are parallel to each other Only thing can think of is the settings on the Renix ecu have changed somehow Come to think of it the way it is now was the way it was 2 years ago and steadily the revs readings have been diminishing all the time

Hmm, strange. Maybe it's the multi plug's behind the dash. Our 340 had a problem with all illumination in the dash a year or so back and it sorted its self, but temporally, taping on the instrument panel glass brought it back to life :?

B200F mick?! As to the revs, could be a loose needle on the rev counter mate, everytime it hits the pin, I'd expect a dodgy connection either to show revs or not, not to just reduce them. Strange one that!

B200K is correct sorry -impressions count for everything don't they Will now try and see if fuel consumption has improved but it will only be an impression can't measure it at all well
