Wanted Volvo 360 in Australia

Post by Ozbrick »

Hi everyone, been browsing the forum.

I was wondering if anyone knows of a good 360 for sale in Australia. I live in Adelaide and they only come up in a blue moon. If anyone could point me in the direction of a good one, It'd be much appreciated.

I already check all the online car sales ads so if anyone has any other advice it would be good.

I'm willing to spend up to $2,000 AUD.

Yours faithfully,
Rob E

Thanks Swede!

I got one yesterday! Got it for the equivalent of 500 pounds. Mint motor, fogs don't work (or odometer), now I'm gonna have the timing belt done and have it's first service.

It has been 40 degrees celcius the last couple of days and it runs wonderfully cool!

Hey Ozbrik, where abouts are you?

The fog lights on a aus 360 are just daytime running lights, they switch off when the headlights are on, and are controlled by a switch infront of the gearshifter, not the fog light switch on the dash.

for the odometer do a search on here, there is a detailed fix thread, but i havn't been bothered with mine, as there is the possibility of breaking the speedo whislt trying to fix the odo.

That was lucky.

You'll have to post up some pics for us all to see.

The spedo is a fairly easy fix. Fist thing is to make sure the cable is connected at both ends properly.

Thanks for the info on the fogs!!! I'll check em again tonight! I wondered why the far right light on the dash display was lit up all the time!

I'm in Adelaide, my car is being serviced (the difficult bits anyway) by Manta Racing Services. Car runs great, needs a new air filter.

My dad in Brisbane knows a blacksmith who resets suspension springs, this guy is gonna be racing one in rally's up there this year. Also in queensland is this guy:

I've been in touch with him to get some ideas for tuning and advice etc.

I must post in the 'newbies' section of your forum!
