Anyone have a genius way of doing these without removing the prop and putting the engine on a crane? My engines wobbling worse than ever, it's making a habit of eating exhausts now. I've done the front mounts 6months ago, and having just had an engine in and out of both Kar and Rory last month, really don't want to have to take Fakes out if I can help it.

Dead easy!

support the engine on a jack (use wood to prtect the sump from damage) Undo the nuts on teh rubber mount. Undo the allen head bolts that hold the bracket to the crossmember. Pull the old mount out then refit the new one loosly then fit the 3 allen bolts and teh tighten it all up. Then do them same on otehr side. It can take a bit of jiggling to get it all alighned up.

worn rear mounts (and probably all the excess water vapour from the dodgy head gasket) made my downpipe fail the other day.

best to support the prop to avoid any damage to the prop
