it is a 1.4 volvo "salon "
does that mean it comes with a 12 volt haidryer and "products " in the glovebox
seems a lot for a car with no mot

That one has been on eBay before. Yes, that's keen for a car with next to no MOT.
cheers

Steve's was nicer-looks like you're paying a premium for the low mileage.

I still don't understand why some people will pay more for an old car with low mileage, usually that means that when you start using it then it'll start falling to bits if it hasn't had much regular use throughout its life.

My old one was hardly high mileage at 58k lol.... doubt things would be that bad from lack of use, my 343 sat for 6 years, brake work, waterpump, radiator and fluids and re-MOT and it did 2k miles faultlessly. It's more the rust that's the issue with that car imo!

I'm not so sure about that. Somethings like rubber belts probably aren't helped by a prolonged period with no use, but low mileage doesn't have to mean that, it could be used every week, but only short journeys. We all know that short journeys can do as much wear as long ones, but if the cars used less often that means less journeys and less wear.
Also, but not always, low mileage cars often come from older owners, and if they only have to go shopping one a week, they're probably more likely to go
on a nice day, avoiding rain and salt etc.
I think a low mileage car is more desirable, but as Steve said, rust is the most important thing.

yeah, it was a big generalisation - but my point is its pretty hard to tell what kind of life it has had and quite a lot of car parts enjoy very regular use. Rust is the only one of real importance though as it can hide itself pretty well and costs the most to have put right

Oh yeah, mileage is only one factor, any car could be clocked anyway.
