Hey guys my 340 has started making a horrible creaking noise from the rear left side suspension unit when ever i drive up a slope at an angle, like entering car parks and certain roads or when u really bush down hard on the car. Now im not a major whiz with suspension but do know my way around it, and am thinking that it could be a broken bush which is causing this noise, but like i said im not amazing with suspension, so could it be something else like a shock absorber or the leaf springs?
Cheers for your help guys.

It will be the rear spring rubbing on the jacking point. You will need to put a bar through the hole and bend it back straight.

When it has been jacked up the back of it will have pushed up so now it rubs.

When jacking use the chassis to lift off

sweet i will have a look at that when i get some free time, just glad that it isnt something majorly serious. i dont usually use the jacking points tho, i mainly use the point behind the rear wheels. or is this a bad point to jack from?

Haha yeah that happened to mine, I wouldn't mind but it wasn't even me that jacked it up - happened when I had a rear wheel bearing done at my garage :(

yep just checked it and it does look like it has been rubbing the jack point, will get that sorted asap, then head straight to tescos car park which has some serious slope to test that its fixed lol.

Cheers Dan
