The Trouble With...

...one garage stripping a car in 2003 and another garage finishing the job 4 years later is bits going missing!
And I'm still coming across stuff on my grey 1.4 months after picking it up! Like the missing trim for inside the tailgate where you access the wiper motor & spoiler, the 'quick release' clips for the grille and today I found there is no horn at all! What I thought was a bad connection turned out to be down to the complete absence of any horn  - the side repeaters on the bumpers haven't been connected either!
What model of Volvo would yield the best horn?

A 360 GLT has twin horns, and will certainly make some noise, they are on each bumper iron beneath the lights. I keep meaning to see how easy it is to add the other one to the 340!

My 2nd horn died and the other sounded embarrassing as it was being drained, disconnecting the dead one worked for a bit now its still embarrassing . Gotta love la cucaracha horns :)

The twin tones on 360's sound a lot better than the stock ones on 340's. Or a steibel ;)

360 horns rock :-) The noise sounds like it comes from a car twice the size ;-)

I always considered changing horns, to something really loud so if someone cut me up i could open it up and it would sound like the end of the world lol. Haven't gotten round to it yet, bigger things on my plate.
sucks that they removed your horn tho, good thing you found out now and when you mighta needed it.

Hope you're not one of those drivers who seems to have one hand constantly on the horn ready to hit it at any second to point out even the smallest error. I dont think I've ever used the horn in anger because thats not what its there for, and If the situation is that serious then I am concentrating more on not being crashed into! (or causing the other driver stress who has probably realised what they have done but lacks an apology horn :)) - rant over, just something that really bugs me is drivers who dont understand what its there for, lol

I don't use my horn much at all, since it really doesn't sound amazing being a 340 horn lol. but since i now live in Portsmouth, as a student, i witness daily something i never experienced before and that is aqua cabs. These cab drivers are the worst i have ever seen in my life, they speed, cut you up and drive right up your ass. it was just the other day i was driving along when one jumped out in front of me on a round about causing my to have to stop dead. So i am not one of these drivers who has a panic beep mentality, just someone who would like a loud horn and gets annoyed with the epidemic of aqua cabs in Portsmouth.

Sometimes you just need to express some displeasure at other motorists. Is it me, or do the roads get more dangerous by the day?

Good range of horns on ratsport:

Click the pic, 139 decibels ought to adequately project your opinion

Cheaper on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NAUTILUS-AIR-HORN ... dZViewItem

I've often wanted loud horns, particularly when there's an arse in the next lane chatting on the phone. I would fit 2 sets of these - just in case...
