Brake Disc Size

Does anybody know what the brake disc size is? Reason I ask is because I was down a friends unit friday while he was mapping my friends Golf and noticed a pair of Black Diamond drilled n grooved discs which looked very swanky indeed!
I asked him what they were for and he said they were for the rear brakes on a MK2 golf, although they look REALLY similar in size to the 340 discs
Just wondering if anybody has the diameter and maybe even the thickness of a 340 disc? I know offset would also be an aspect to consider but if they were the right size to begin with i'd have a crack at trial fitting em maybe?
Any info and opinions would be appreciated

To be honest I don't REALLY need more stopping power but there dead stock so i'll get the discs for cheap and i won't be far off needing a pair anyway!

Depends which rear golf disks you use as some have the hub assembly built in, i guess these dont. Although i reckon the offset will be a mile out, front disks sit behind the hubs remember. worth a shot if you think they might fit? Golf are only 226 mind.

If you do decide, black diamond do do 300 discs, but not cheap. I'm also always dubious of drilled discs, and they only do combo'd, not just grooved, but got to be worth a shot.

Griffo, besides the look you don't really need other than standard discs for your drift 340. I've stock breaking around, but it brakes very very well.
Could spend the money a better way I think.

I know yer, to be honest the stock brakes are more than enough for me anyway. As I say it was just a little idea as I could have got these black diamond discs for the price of stock discs anyway so thought if they fitted then uprate them for the same price as stock.

There are websites with a compleet list with dimensions of all brake disks. Found out, there were a couple that would fit very well, only need to drill te holes in an other patern.
Cant find the page anymore...sorry
