£600 is a bargain. Thought it went for closer to a grand on ebay. Someone sympathetic should buy it instead of a lampost lopper.

Hi all, im interested in this car as its exactly what Im looking for, a nice genuine looking example.. what Im worried about is "needs running adjusted (airflow meter perhaps)"
Im not a member on that forum and wondered if any of you could tell me what he may mean by the above, or if anyone knows him to speak with?
Paul.

Later on in the link he mentions "Hi people, just about to do an oil and filter change and also change the spark plugs.. The cars running a bit off at the moment, runs on a bit after turned off and begining to take longer to start.. Any suggestions? Bloke who had it before had altered the air flow meter as he believed it was running rich I was told! Cheers in advance for any replys guys"
Could this be a simple fix?

Don't worry too much, bad running from cold especially is almost a characteristic of the GLT with it's LE-Jet injection... but start with a full service and go from there :)

Having seen that car in the flesh it's a lovely example, has had both sides resprayed but it's very tidy with a lot of rare options - the exhaust alone is worth £200-250. Very fair price in my opinion and has ranked highly in the Best Kept Volvo shows.

Definitely agreed it needs to be a car for an enthusiast, not someone thinking it's a cheap car to be stripped, dropped and battered. I 'might' be interested in order to save it....... not definite and sadly it's come at the wrong time, I'd currently be hung should another car turn up here at the moment! Plus I've got too many cars to look after at the moment.

That is a car which needs to stay 'in the family'. For serious.

cheers
