Originally I had no intention of going (and had in fact resigned from the VOC) but as with all things, what seemed very simple was not so and for the moment at least I am still a member (in no little part so that I may attend and speak at the VOC members meeting at Gaydon - those of you who are VOC old farts as well as V3M will have had your letter. Yes the "they couldn't have put people off better if they tried" letter. (I know, I know I'm being churlish to criticise but I still feel very jaundiced)). Let us hope that something positive emerges.

The result of all this is that I shall be coming to the BKV (complete with g/box and diff Adam). I shall also have some other odd bits - see in the relevant section.

Mac.

Glad to see you'll be there Mac, I'm not currently a VOC member, but, I have been in the past, and in order to be involved in the current issue and to be part of the BKV I may well join up again.

So, as it's close to me this year, it'd be rude not to attend, I'll be in at least one Volvo of some variety!

Certainly be there, and doing my best to arrange being at Gaydon as well. Currently have a good 7mm of beard, tempted to continue the growth.

We're hoping to be there, just to give the car it's first proper long drive. :)

Cheers

I hope to, although the 360 has no MOT still, having some work done in the first week of June - it's gonna be touch and go whether it has MOT or not :S At this point, I say probably not!

Otherwise I might just pop along anyway and park in the car park.

hi there!

I'm coming to the BKV and if all goes to plan there will be a 940 saloon, a restored 66 (on its first outing ever since rebuild!) and a yellow 343......

or... we might just come in the 440 diesel...

I'm kinda hoping the first plan works out!!!!!...

need to fix the leaking heater matrix on the 940 first.....glad summer is here so its ok to work outside!

One would hope so given you have a choice of at least 4........

I though Kate had banned you from beard growth due to rash issues???

Is this another famous 'yea, sure I'll be there' claims that then results in you bailing out at the last minute?

I'll be there in my new FWD waftmobile, and I should also be at Gaydon to hopefully act in a mediating role to ensure there isn't a full coup d'etat of the VOC.

I'll be at both Gaydon and the BKV. I'll probably also be at the MRG meet in Chippenham the day before the Gaydon meeting.

Nice of you to bring my new 343 to the BKV for me Shimon

cheers

No, it's quite simply a case of (most likely) not having a roadworthy Volvo by then!... I will most likely get there one way or another!

I hope you're enjoying the understeer

Bump! I hope you're all busy growing your beards and polishing the air inside your tyres!

It would be really good to have a big turn-out from 300s for my first BKV as register keeper....and so we can show the other model owners that a) a real Volvo is RWD, and b) a 300 is a 'real' RWD Volvo!

cheers

I'm hoping to have the 343 there...as long as nothing else goes wrong, and I can get a new clutch in good time.

cheers
